DaX - Alizara

My piece for the March 2009 round of the Dragon Art Exchange on LiveJournal. The character belongs to Alizara, art work was done by me. It's a pitty I didn't have time to incorporate everything else I wanted to (a runaway hors, broken cart, and a background), but that's how deadlines go.

Some anatomy is off, I realise, and I have no idea if those kinds of pterasaur wings actually work like that. I don't exactly have many reliable sources for it.

  Yeah, you don't see a lot of dragons with wings based off dinosaurs. It was fun to work with.

Quite an imaginative dragon. I don't think I've ever seen one that looks like this before. I like it! Very different, and the coloring is intriguing as well.

  The design is not created by me, but by the character's owner, Alizara. Indeed she certainly has a fun design, I enjoyed drawing it in my style.

I dont know if this was intentional or not, but the fact that the dragon is eating somebody is morbidly comedic.
