Personal OC of mine.

Ok So i got a new monitor the other day, And i was looking at my artwork when i realized what people where trying to say to me now. (you know who you are!) And i want to say thank you. One for pointing it out, 2 just because i can!

Well for v2 I added a lot of shading and even detailed the jewel holder as well. I got rid of all the harsh lines and re-hued only parts of the picture. I hoping to improve this image even ore so the more feed back the better!

Background story of image:
He was born on a sailing ship going over the ocean, They had visited a land with many unknown gems laying under the earth. The captain Of the sailing ship, (The one who found him as an egg..) thought is was a giant opal Of some kind. He thought it would be a nice gift for his beloved queen back at home. During a small storm, under the full moon the opal moved and a chipping sound was to be heard. The egg cracked and began to shatter, The egg tipped over off the gem pedistal. A tiny dragon black with a purple shine was born. The book which it lays on was dammed but the flith left behind from the egg. When the storm layed to rest the captian gose into his cabin he hears a strange sound coming from his desk. He lit his oil lamp And looked in the corner when his desk sits. In the dim midnight oil lamp light his purple and black scales show off as he explores the desk he was born on. Turning his head to see a tall sailor looking at amazement at him. He only stared as the cool air made the baby dragon tired. The Captain picked him up and put him in his bed. He kept him as a reminder of that day when he found him as an opal egg.

(So i have a who story about him and even have the first 6 chapters written out, but people complain about my lack of knowledge of grammar. So i don't have it posted anymore. But this is one of the scene from it.)
