Dance of the Firebird

She dances across the sky of cool hues, her radiant fire drawing the West Wind to her presence as a month drawn to flame. She invites him with a twinkle in her dark eyes, something there that intriques his curiosity. Together, they dance. And still to this day their colors clash in the evening, a fire against the pale blue sky, the mythical Firebird and West Wind.
