Inishi Kendo

Done in colored pencil. This is the only piece of traditional art I have ever completed. It was the first time I drew anything. She's not perfect, but she's my furry OC. I used her in a story once a long time ago.

Inishi Kendo is a weasel, though I realize she looks like a cat. Lol. This is the only anthro OC that I have. She's not perfect, and my drawing skills were not so great back then... Hope you enjoy it anyway.

    I like your traditional pieces ^^ I mean, I may be biased cause I'm a traditional art fan, but you seem more relaxed with it. A bit more cheeky. I'd like to see more if you do any ^^

      Oh, well thank you. ^_^ I think I might to do more traditional art some time. I just don't have a working scanner anymore. And you're right, I think I try too hard with digital b/c I want it to be so good and then that ruins it. XD And I'm still trying to work on developing my own style.

        I know that story T.T I've grown up drawing traditionally. I even use a tablet now and I'm no where near happy with my results. I need major practice. My traditional is where my strengths are too. ^^;

          Well it doesn't help that every time I draw something traditional, I live with people who find my stuff and then make fun of it. They say things like I should just give up and other stuff. I want to draw fanart and as long as it's on the computer I can, but if it's traditional, then people could find it and say stuff. So that's why I don't like doing traditional as much. And it seems like mistakes are easier to fix on the computer too. I like the end result of traditional though. I have even done oil paintings before, but I don't do it much any more.

            Really? Oh my gosh- that TRULY sucks T.T I'm sorry you have to go through that Sad I know ALOT of artists that go through that Sad One of my friends hides her art cause her parents throw it away if they see it T.T All I can say is be strong, cause the more you draw, the more you'll get better at it. I hope you get alot of positive feedback via internet to make up for the IRL feed back Sad Don't give up on traditional methods though! There'll be a way ^^

              Yeah... I appreciate that. It's sad to see other people go through it too, knowing how it feels. It was what made me decide to go digital, even if my digital may not be as good... I save everything on my flashdrive now. XD

              I've had both good and bad comments, and I really don't mind the bad ones either b/c it helps me get better. Smile But the good ones tell me what I should keep the same.

              I think my best ones, oddly enough, are the ones I don't stress over. I never used to enjoy drawing at all. But now I look forward to it.
