I just love your pictures, they really look like they're going somewhere! ^ ^ They remind me of Amy Brown's fairy art, except you use watercolor. A nice touch, especially considering so many people use oekakis or other programs to color their art. Thanks for sharing that hint about the salt, it may come in handy! Wish I could comment on all your art, - and this is not just me being "candy coated"- it is honestly just fabulous.

-edit- I think what I meant by this was "wow, you could go pro!!! It's unique and fabulous and wunderful!" ^_^

Wow, great job Eleanora, i love it! Great choise of color and you totally have the hang of watercolor, the background is exquisite and the use of salt to give it a crystal quality is marvelous! Love it! New fav!

Beautiful. I love the flow use of the hair, making it seem quite realistic.
I like the watercolour look for background, seems to help giving the non happy effect.

you know I love these backgrounds almost as much as these pretty angels and demons! do you get the paper all wet and just drop color on it randomly? it also looks sponged a bit. anyway great pic

Yup, pretty much so: I make the paper very wet, then kinda throw in the colour where I want to have them. I use salt for the glittering effect; just throw it in the wet paint and it gives a nice effect Smile

I love this series of pics, it really stands out from what I've seen on the site. I loved that you used specific tones to each. .What did you do them with? The BG looks like drawing on silk to me. Your figures are very graceful I must say.Smile

      Hi Atlantis!

      Thanks for your message Smile
I'm fond of my small series of fairies too, they don't have a specific meaning, but people seem to like them, I think it's because of what you said, the different colours (and they looks sweet ^^).
I used watercolours, as I do with all my full colour works. The sparkly things in the background I did by throwing salt in the wet painting, which always makes nice effects.

That's it really. Hope to see you around!
