Something else I'm just now getting around to scanning from my Illustration Methods class. One of the most surprising projects was the Anthropomorphic project. We were required to have a detailed background with some kind of action and up to three characters.

After six different concepts my professor told me to go with this one because he loved the smug "hey baby" look on the tiger's face. XD Ilu Groffles~ Anyway, we used this wash method to do the paintings which I fucked up on. We were supposed to use watercolor or gouache for the wash and I used acrylic. I paniced upon seeing the fact that the purple tone over the whole piece would NOT lift out. So I started freaking out hardcore and grabbed the nearest thing I thought would take it off.

Hand Sanitizer.

With much vigorous scrubbing and rubbing, it began to lift out. It was a major fuck up but in the end the whole piece came together and I was okay with that. I was more than okay with that, I was elated to know I hadn't totally fucked up. <D Now, as per usual, the scan is shit. The tiger doesn't stand out behind the curtains THAT much in the irl version but I could only adjust it so much in Photoshop before it looked awful.

Either way, enjoy~
