This is Veridian - or Vera. He is a transvestite - a crossdresser, female impersonator, drag queen, whatever. He doesn't just wear women's clothing to 'feel pretty' - he acts like a woman, too. He prefers to be called Vera, as it's his "female name."
He is quite girly (whether in drag or not). He considers himself a Princess - he loves lots of glitter, pink, frills and lace.

Also, he's allergic to silver - hence why he wears only gold jewelry!!
