Before the War

More scene from the ancient world mentioned in Chapter 0.5 of Project CX (http://www.paperdemon.com/comic/about/363.html). I wanted to draw the Captain and his wife (from http://www.paperdemon.com/comic/page/363/8.html) before the onset of the Great War too.

I could imagine the wife joking with her husband, laughing "I let my hair down, what do you think?" Meanwhile the husband goes "your bandana has come off."

It's a very loose and relaxed composition spread across the length of the page which should look as if it's a moment that just naturally happens there, instead of deliberately arranged.

And no, the horse is not nibbling on the sword.
