After the fight

Just a quick sketch, with even faster coloring. Finally another one of Isira, my dear Knight from Weiden - only portraied a bit different than usual, showing her softer, more vulnerable side.

After a bit of thinking, I added the bruises, cause she must be covered in them regularly - as the sole fighter (the dwarf doesn't count...) of the group, she builds the front nobly taking the hits that would get the others killed.
That the frigging mage Jasper does more damage than she does annoys her sometimes, though.

It might be quick, but it looks very striking. I love her contemplative expression. Maybe reflecting on the battle.

Owch- it's easy not to think about how battle damaged a hero gets, but when you see them post battle... D:

Yep, it's really easy not to think about how they look after an adventure - if the mages are that stingy with healing spells...
The thought came to me after isira blocked an attack of an ogre - although she managed to stay on her feet, her arm must have been blue all over after that :/

Ah- an ogre would do that. I play in a Starwars campaign table top wise, and they have this system where you can soak stuff up as consequences ('Dislocated arm' or 'slightly bruised' etc...) and I can only image how those consequences look after a battle. Just last Tuesday, my pilot rammed another ship with mine (Argon is still pissed off at this) and took a sevear consequence of 'F@#KING BIG HOLE' and a minor of 'I just repaired that!'. I imagine my poor Lightrider was in a terrible state! (Luckily my character is a l33t engineer and could fix it T.T ) We've had characters have interesting injuries cause of it though! It's easy to look at words though
