Fear of Uncertainty

This is actually vent art. I've done this on a sort of yearly basis, so as it turns out I can actually compare my art progress as it always features the same character and the same colour scheme.

The guy in question is my persona - he has half-white, half-black hair and green eyes, and is always depicted with red because I...am a cheap person and use red as a focus and contrast against the grey haha. It also gives me an excuse to use blood somewhere in the picture, although not with this one.

He actually also has glasses, but I prefer to show him without them even though it means he'd be blind as a bat.

Since each piece has become less specific and more open to the viewer to interpret, I won't say anything about what this means to me. It's entirely up to the viewer to decide what the piece means to them.

Arcturus belongs to me.

I really like the composition of this one. It feels awkward and ominous ^^ Red is a good choice to mix with grey to give a dark feel as it's lux level is alot darker in wavelength than other colours Smile If you used blue or yello or some colour with a higher wavelength it wouldn't look quite as imposing. Iff that's how his character is then I'm not surprised it's a theme for him ^^
