Female Black Convict Cichlid

Posted Jul 18, 2012, 5:50:09 AM

I have been working on this for about two months now and the reason being are those stripes.

This is a picture of my female Black Convict Cichlid that was breed, born and raised in my own tanks. She has never seen a pet store. This is the only one from the spawning that I kept.

I finished it up tonight with her watching me.

This is done on and 11X14 sheet of paper with a 1 inch border around for matting. My scanner can not get all of it so most the rocks are cut off and the scanner kind of killed it a little so there are blur spots.

As much as I love this media I don't do it a lot.

This is just magical to look at! What a tedious piece to do. Looks wonderful. Smile

Thank You. I guess you could say it was tedious, I worked on it off and on for a few months because after a while the movement became repetitive and I had to do something else.

      Apologies for responding so late.

Thank You and it was tedious to work on but I enjoyed doing it.
