A rogue from Sayen's universe. Sh'or Drai, better known under his nickname 'Nox', was born into an aristocratic Goblin family, from an affair with a Human father. His mother refused to acknowledge him as anything more then a bastard child, which led Drai to try and discover something he was good at in order to win her affections. When his father asked him to retrieve a letter without his mother knowing, it turned out little Drai was good at stealing and lying... He kept committing petty crimes in order to get any form of attention from his mother, but his talents were noticed elsewhere. One day, he made the mistake of stealing a coinpurse belonging to Shenkai, the teenage leader of a local band of thieves named the Shu-Ki, named after her grandfather.

Rather then kill the 10-year old, the young woman noticed the potential the child had. Drai was trained by the best teacher the organization had to offer: Shenkai's brother Khangri. After 7 years, he worked himself up through the ranks, until he became Khangri's assistant, earning his nickname for his ability to flawlessly use shadows as his cover. Then came the day when Shenkai and her team were discovered on a mission to the palace of the Human king... They were publicly executed in a brutal way. It was up to Khangri to find a successor for his sister. He had longed to take over his sister's function for years, but a permanent leg injury made it impossible for him. After a long search, the now 17-year old Sh'or Drai proved the perfect candidate. Two years later, Drai still leads the Shu-Ki with his old teacher as his right-hand man. He has become a ruthless man, leading the thieves to run the town with an iron fist... But he still has a soft spot: he does it all to get his father out of debt.

Sh'or Drai is known to heavily oppose the Ivoryvale Cult and executes its members and supporters, but is not above sending thieves who betray him to the same fate. Though he apparently makes reckless decisions, most of them turn out in favor of his subordinates. He speaks in a very intellectual way, and often reads in his spare time. Drai severely detests negative comments about his appearance, and spending time on petty things such as a member of the Shu-Ki messing up. He lets 5 squad leaders of his choosing handle that. He likes a challenge, and can come off a bit cocky.
