for the Green prompt in a 100 Theme Challenge

---

What is Green?
Growth and life and new buds of Spring, lazy summer afternoons looking through the light in the leaves -
The smell of mown grass or Christmas fir, the bitter-tangy flavor of pink clover's nectar and the cold sting of mint -
Hummingbirds' or peacock's feathers -
Emerald and peridot -
Vigorous green, green as vipers -
Green as veins and vines -
Green as a forest god.

This is so beautiful! I love your attention to details and how the yellow looks like sunshine in the deep forest!

I love the pretty Kelly green colours TuT So many people shy away from green cause it's regarded as such an average colour, but pair it with another colour and it pops out so nicely <3

Thanks. Smile Green's got a lot to say for itself, given half a chance. Wink

It does, but we register it so easily in our eyes that it has become a "boring" colour in comparison to like... red or something. I read an article about it in an art book once. it's good to see it used.

Maybe I'm a little odd, then. Wink I mean, flat kelly green without highlights doesn't get my attention, but I seem endlessly fascinated by the green/yellow mixes of sunlight in leaves, and I could (and might) build a fairy-palace out of the shapes and tone-variations in some of the weeds by the side of the road.

Oh- tha'ts what I'm saying Smile Green by its self is un exciting, but with other colours it's great Smile People will often discount it though cause it doesn't make an impact on its own Smile
