New Zealand layout sketch

This is a compositional study for a digital painting I'm working on of Mackay Falls in New Zealand for the Destinations art challenge. It took me 60 minutes today to sketch this and look at reference photos. I was trying to get a nice composition out of it before going into refining it. That seems incredibly slow to me but since I'm not following the reference imagery exactly, there's more things to think through. I'm pretty happy with this composition so I'll move forward with the underpainting.
