Good solid shading. And with pastels? Color me impressed.

Before sending stuff off to publishers or just uploading onto various sites and galleries all over the internet, I tweak the art in a Photoshop contrast filter which brightens the colors a bit and darkens the black areas....makes the image snap when looked at in the incident light of a computer screen.....and THANKS Big Smile

Very lovely work! I agree, the orange is very complimentary to the blue of Mystique's person. I love the details and the depth of colors. The only thing that I can think of that might need a little improvement, is the shine of her hair. But it really isn't a huge deal deal. Great job in all. This is beautiful.

I agree about the white on her head, but I got tired and just left it as an "overexposure". Drawing the lines and such for hair doesn't hold any sensuality for me, which is probably why I don't like doing it and leave it as "blobs"....I call it style and throw myself on the mercy of the court. Big Smile.

That is totally fine! There are things I am just all "f*kit" and let be called "my style" because omg I just don't wanna. XD

Either way, it's still gorgeous. Smile

LOL Yeah it's the old "opposite colors cause a subliminal optical vibration" trick. SEE?...I didn't sleep through ALL of my art classes forty years ago....(just the boring ones...) Big Smile
