GODZILLA '63

My acrylic on canvas interpretation of the old boy melting out of the iceberg in the early part of King Kong vs Godzilla. This is the "new" painting I am contributing to the Kaiju Art Show at Creature Features art gallery (The show starts August 13th '2016). I'm pretty sure I'm going to be way early as I am delivering this the last week in July. I am also taking the RODAN painting I have left over from the last Kaiju show. Hope springs eternal.

Nice colors, and great texture on the big guy's scales.

  I hate to make something just one color, and by varying the color a bit on different sections of the body, it give Big G a bit more depth....
