Absence of the Stars

I found my acrylics a small while ago, so I figured I'd brush up on using them. Acrylics are definitely a lot different that watercolor, heh. I should practice with the medium more, for sure. I've got mixed feelings on this, but for the majority of them, I enjoy how this came out.
    As for the scene, there are places where there are landmasses that float, so they were replicated to the refuge where the kids stay, so kids know how to handle themselves around them, which is (obviously) where this character is right now. Further, there are no stars.
