A full body piece of my sona, since I still haven't put up one on this site. I'm pretty proud of the design, I put a good amount of thought into it. The piece was done with Faber-Castell, Chameleon, and Sharpie markers.

Art and sona are mine, don't steal.

Cool and unique. L) Are those wings or fins? Are the arches of color around them connected to a literal object, or symbolic, or simply a nifty pattern?

Those are wings. I like playing with unique wing designs that could work 'cause it's a good way to set you dragon OC apart from others. The patterns in the backdrop are for looks, though they could be interpreted symbolically.

        Alrighty. Smile
...Got any with flying squiirel-type glider wings?

No, though that would be interesting. In my story, dragons who are meant to be in the air would've evolved a means to full out fly. I might end up making a smaller race of creatures that glide though~

            Fair enough. Smile
...If the point of wings is how well they fill an ecological niche, perhaps folks who live in forests or other places with lots of high points grouped closely together would be more likely to wind up with "I can transit from point a to point b in the air" kinds of wings rather than long-range flight types? But if True Wings are your preferred dragon aesthetic I get that. Smile And I would be interested if you ever developed non-draconic gliders as well! Smile
