Incense

The kids where my story takes place often take on aspects from the cultures of other race's societies, since dragons themselves never were so collective to have one on their own, besides in the great dragon libraries, one of which being an adapted form of smoking. Most kids don't find the thought of breathing in smoke remotely appealing, even those from volcanic ethnicities, however, it did inspire them to start holding burning incense sticks in their mouths, as to smell their fragrance wherever they go (especially popular among the previously stated volcanic kinds). From there, kids who ran businesses, like shops or entertainment, started doing it in order to build a better experience for potential customers. Thus, the market for incense grew, and the practice of burning scents came to be seen as classy and professional. Therefore--- of course my volcanic bab would do so as well, being business oriented and liking the finer things in life.

Art and characters belong to me, don't steal.
