Finnished colouring him... I think... may replace this pic with one with a background on it later if i get the chance...

EDIT: I put a background on and did a lil more definitions on his coat...

That pose.... It's wrong somehow... I can't put my finger on it.... THAT'S IT! The front paws are off the ground, and he isn't pouncing. He looks like he should raise his front paws in the air like a horse, but lions don't do that. He's also standing very tall for a lion- they tend to hug the ground a little. Just some thoughts. Your manes are gorgeous though

  i know theres alotta faults with this, it came from a v quick n rough sketch lmao. and his paws are raised nowhere near as much as a horses... take a look at the lineart, theyre only raised enough for him to tuck them under without scraping the floor... n i was in a wierd random mood when drawing the sketch... cant remember if i mentioned on here or somewhere else about this being rather anatomically impossible for a lion to do this pose lol

  Yeah, as I said, I didn't know what was wrong, but something about where the feet were looked wrong. If you know what was wrong, then I was just drawing attention too it cause you wanted to be 'roasted' with comments. Me? Two legs I can handle. Four is a totally different story ^^;

Now its more better and nicer! May I ask you how do you begin to draw a lion like this or your other animal characters? Creating the body with geometric shapes like squares, triangles and Circles? Or can you draw freehanded? And how did you put the background in??

  i just draw freehand... firstly in a sketch then neatening up his lineart and i use several layers for the background. Thanks ^^

You're so good at coloring! Um...in a wierd way this kinda reminds me of Scar and Simba mixed together. Do you see it? oh well maybe it's just me. Great muscle work too.

  hmm... i see the sorta simbanes sin his main pelt colour and possibly his mane lol, not sure i see the scarness though... And thankyou ^^

  I dunno what it is something about him just screams SCAR!! hmm... maybe his eyes?? And the way his mane is sorta slicked back/

  Yeah good point lol but I dunno something about him says Scar. That's not really a bad thing in my eyes I think Scar is totally awesome though I have to say my Fave LK characters are Simba and Kovu the good guys
