Study of Masahiro of the Vir

A sphinx character who is introduced when my main heroine saves his life then after a bit of arguing finds the love of her life within him, Masahiro of the Vir. His race has the ability to shape shift, this represents as human as he gets as well as the giant cat he is when he is rescued by Muidemi as Eidon, her male persona. He has one more form, his natural sphinx, but I was looking to explore his other sides here in this sketch. His natural (wilder looking man from the waist up, cat-like from the waist down) form is something I had developed more solidly in the early 2000's.

Thanks arkillian Smile although this character isn't by truest definition a sphinx i.e. no wings, walks upright and can modify his appearance, when I created him and went to describe his race it was the closest thing I could come up with. I have a work with his "natural" form in the red curtain section. He is a blood mage and assassin, which explains the other piece a little if you were to check it out ;) I take some liberty with "blood mage" as well, you could probably liken it to something like using hair for a voodoo doll where a physical connection is required to curse, injure etc. his target. A dark character, predator for sure (he does only eat meat), but quick to humor and even quicker to smile, making him an entertaining guest at a party ;)
