Suprise for Lady Anime

Well this here elf is Santa's heavy lifter :grin: I made him for Kristy as a suprise. I didn't do the background it was a premade thing from printshop 12 that I liked but the dude is all by me for Lady Anime, he can kiss your ouchys, LOL.

I would have liked to get some help before I finished but then it wouldn't have been a suprise sooooo I had to look over advice from my previous pics. I would still like any advice on him now though so I can use it for future pics. :dizzy:

First advise for a pic that you can't have advise on first before posting it? Photo referance. It may not seem worth it if you only want to slap something out quick, but haste is waste, and this is practise for the big pics, right? A photo referance of a body builder will tell you exactly what he looks like buffed, and where everthing is. AND it's not cheating Also, the perspective on that box would only show a little bit of the top of the box, not that much- having his hands holding it up would also be correct then. Hope this helps ^^

  OOOHHH Thank you, I know it seemed kinda strange posting the finished thing before asking for help but I try to remember all the advice I get for whatever I'm going to do next And yes, that helps I had no clue how to get his hands or the box and I couldn't find a pic that looked anything like what I was trying to do.   Not weird- I normally post finals and ask for crit even if I can't change it. Sometimes you can't change it for that pic, but you're aware of it for the next :nods: Sometimes something like that box helps if you invision yourself carrying the box. How would you do it? What does your arms do? Where would it sit better? Art is alot about visualising the picture before drawing it.

Oh my gosh! What a wonderful surprise my dear! Thank you so so so so so so so so so very much. he is really hot. And I totally dig the pink highlights in his hair. he reminds me a bit of my Sesshomaru. He is a doll. And I get to keep him! Yay! ^^ Oh yes, I am sure he can make all the ouchies go away. And why stop at the hand? why not keep going? Heehee O...kay... perversity aside, he does look awesome sweetheart. You are so great at proportions. I STILL have problems with proportions and I devote my life to drawing people. So consider yourself EXTREMELY gifted. Second of all, I love the colors. That magenta color works beautifully with that "Robin's Egg blue" type color you have there. And the background you chose is pretty awesome girlie. And I can't help but notice that Santa's heavy lifter has been quite endowed with some heavy equipment of his own. The gift that keeps on giving, eh? Heehee. I truly love this sweetheart.   I thought you might like the generous endowment aside from christmas time he's all yours to have your wicked way with I like the original better because I colored it with my sparkly pens but it didn't come through on the scan but he still looks to me 2. The red highlights in his hair were just for you, I like green highlights in my white haired men myself but I have noticed you post alot that your fav color is RED and since he's just 4 U I had to go with what U like

It is the most bestest color in the world. ^^ And I think green hair would be kick a*s! I don't think it comes out to be the color of bogeys though. So you'd be safe. Oh either that or purple. Or black with purple streaks. Now that would be cool. You'd be surprised at how much attention I get from the kids at my kids' school. They think I am the coolest mom in the world because I have bright red hair. I even had to break the heart of a first grader. Kids... they are so cute. Okay... I have gone slightly off topic here. What were we talking about again? Oh yeah... you should dye your hair red. heheh Love yas! mwah!

  LOL, I've done purple hair and blue. I haven't done the streaks with the black That could be cool but alas my old man has requested I go back to brown with red/blond highlights which I had when we first met so I will go with that for a few months and then change again. Dyeing my hair is one of my favorite hobbies

this is great! I bet Lady anime will love this! His arms look really good and he's one hot santa's heavy lifter The only thing I can think is to create more wrinkles in the pants near his feet to make them look as baggy as they are.
