PaperDemon color studies

I'm working on a new PaperDemon illustration which will appear in the footer of the new UI. Here's some color studies.

I live streamed this and Arkillian popped in and asked if i was going to do a red curtain themed one, so I added a couple of darker ones which could be used for red curtain. Thanks Arkillian! I'm going to proceed with the lower right color comp for the red curtain. I haven't decided which to use for PaperDemon yet. One of the ones in the middle column. I like them both.

I'm often really indecisive about what colors to use. So I like to do some quick color comps. I spent about an hour doing these. Learn more about the color comp technique

That is an interesting pose, the way he is tangled in the vines is elegantly done. I like the lower middle one the most, the way the hues radiate out is lovely~
