Tarnimikoto ni Daarude

Posted Oct 28, 2018, 11:58:32 PM
Okay, totally addicted to figure studies at the moment :) Wanted to work on my velmuht more, but a pretty wild swing from my male mage to a very pregnant Tarnimikoto ni Daarude, Muidemi's mother. She is a historical figure in my story; she is killed when Muidemi is only 2 1/2 so she is mentioned from time to time in recollections only. Muidemi knows very little about her, and thus almost nothing about her velmuhtian ancestry and its associated culture.

I have a tough enough time drawing women, but you did a great job capturing her detail, and beauty. Love you powerful sexy feet and the detail you put in. As a pointer, never be afraid of adding colour. It really is our friend and makes any piece of art "POP". Do you go to conventions as a "Furry" or just enjoy drawing them. All the best and thanks for sharing - Geordie

Thank you so much for the kind words, Geordie! Actually, I didn't realize my art could be categorized as 'furry' until very recently, I've just always thought of my people as well, people. They just happen to be a non-human race. No, I have not been to a furry convention but may end up at one some day, if for nothing else but to try and get something going with my art. This one was a quickie for Inktober this year, but you may see it used again as a base for her in one of my illustration pieces. She is a stormy blue gray color with black hair, if you were at all curious. Best to you as well! ~ B.
