I like the way you blended the color in this one's design, it looks very natural and would fit snugly into a forested setting. The shape of it's face is elegant, especially how it flows to those long, sloping horns. That sparkle in its eye gives the feeling that it's a gentle or thoughtful being.
How you did the fur along the neck is lovely, the mane adds a regal feel, a little like a stag. One issue I see is about it's posture- I'm not entirely sure where all of it is, past the rib cage. Is it poking from a cave, or is it curving upwards along the tail? That could use some clarification. I enjoy your use of the speckled green and the flecks of white along the horns. Beautiful dragon!
Thank you! And that's an interesting perspective on the back half of the dragon. In actuality, what I think is appearing as a ribcage is the thigh and knee of the back leg, tucked up close to the body. I had not realized that might be viewed as part of the torso. It's something I'll keep in mind going forward.
Lol! I agree, I wish that I still had the original creation file for this. I really wanted to go back and play around with that and see if I could take your idea and implemented. Oh well. This is why it's so much fun to have discussions about our art pieces, no? So fascinating getting other people's perspectives on things that you see so clearly in your mind oh, because it's your creation.
That's a shame, did it accidentally get deleted? Input from peers is certainly nice, their life experience that can show up in their comments can lead you to thinking about aspects of something you wouldn't have on your own.
I use a program called Art Fire, and when my old computer broke and I had to replace it, I uploaded everything onto Google Drive. From what I can tell I just only uploaded the jpgs and not the pngs.
