My entry for the NoobMeVsNowMe challenge, although the "Now" picture was completed sometime in January this year, so it's not quite as "Now" as I'd like. Imogen is based on the Nymph characters from the Rayman Origins game but drawn in the limbless style of Rayman 1.

The original was done during 2013 when I was still trying to get my head around using Paint Tool SAI and while I don't actively dislike the original drawing, the impossibly small apron pocket, extra chunky invisible legs and super deformed hands still make me feel a bit cringey, so I'm glad I eventually found the time to redraw her. :)

Great job on her! I really like the new hair, so much more depth in the new style 😊

This is a great improvement. The face is so much better defined and the inclusion of a background makes it feel so much more complete.

I remember being deliberately slow about sketching this as I usually find I've made a glaring error but somehow don't notice it until it's nearly finished so fixing it is a real pain. Thankfully that didn't happen this time so perhaps I just need to slow down a bit before I start colouring.
