This drawing of Baraka is based off of his appearance in Mortal Kombat Deception. He is one mean looking son of a... Anywhoo... in the pic I based this off of, he has an orange glow about him and I wanted to try to replicate that, but I placed the glow around his entire body and not just his face. I thought it looked more neat that way. ^^ I must note that I am NOT educated in the ways of digital art or paint shop or anything by any means, but have been messing around with it lately trying to get the hang of it. So please be forgiving of any problems you may find with the digital background. I totally envy those of you who do digital art for a living. Okay... I think that about covers it. I am now off to finish my drawing of Reptile. I promise he will be the last of the Mortal Kombat kick I am on. Have a great Christmas everybody. :)
Wow!This is great!Kinda creepy...This one turned out great hun!It was worth of hard work! The background is awesome!I don`t see the problem with it..Awesome job! This piccy looks great! I actually had a wonderful Christmas. There were a few minor mishaps here and there, but it was a great weekend overall. Now then... thank you so very much for your wonderful compliments hun. You really spoil me too much. This is my very first BG that I tried on the computer. I am happy that everyone aproves of it. This guy is pretty creepy huh? His name is baraka and I drew him in the style that he is in in Mortal Kombat Deception. <--- One of thee best games in the world in my opinion. He is one mean SOB. And I think he and his clan eat people. *shudders* But he is my son's most favorite character, so I thought I would do a little drawing for him. he has it hanging on his wall. I hope your Christmas was absotively wonderful. Thanks again for all of your sweetness all the time. All my love to you. Mwah mwah mwah! ^_^

LOL he looks like he was a son of a biscut to draw besides just being a mean son of a bleep You did a great job as usual and I think the BG is wicked!!!!!
Oh man... he was a SOB to draw. I had such a hard time with all of the different degrees of shading in this one. >_< But overall, I think he looks okay. The skin folds of his head could use a little work, but nothing too strenuous. I am currently working on Reptile and hope to have him done by tomorrow at the very latest. I am so relieved that you think the background turned out good. I think the orange glow of the "smoke" behing him looks pretty neat. Thanks again hun for always making me feel so wonderful about my drawings. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was pretty unforgettable. All my love. ^_^
*HUGGYS* I had a great christmas this was the first year my oldest actually got the whole Santa thing and he woke us up screeching that Santa brought him presents It was so funny, the baby was more interested in what Cruz opened than opening his own gifts and Cruz ended up opening half of Ashton's because he was more into the demolishing of the wrapping paper
What program did you use to do the back ground? I'm debating with myself over buying a real art program or not because I'm not too sure if I want to spend too much money on a hobby before we move home but I'm still looking into what's out there just in case I decide to go for it. LOTS of Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
aww... it sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas. I LOVE seeing the looks on my kids' faces on Christmas morning when they open their presents and everything. For this BG, I used a program called Adobe Illustrator cs2. It is fun, but quite confusing. I am just now starting to get the hang of it. I am pretty much teaching myself what to do with it because even their tutorials are confusing. >_< I have the URL where you can download a free 30 day trial of it. I will write it down for you as soon as I get a spare moment, okay? All my love. Mwah!
Thank you hun. My son and I are obsessed with Mortal Kombat. We have so much MK memorabilia scattered all about our house. This one I did for my son because Baraka is his absolute favorite character of all time. Reptile is my fave. I am working on a drawing of him as we speak. I hope it will turn out okay. *crosses fingers* And I am trying to get the hang of my paint shop right now. Well at least to do some backgrounds anyway. Thank you for the wonderful compliments sweetie. All my love. ^_^
Thank you, thank you. I hoped that people wouldn't think the BG was a complete eye-sore. I think the orange glow around him turned out pretty good. It definitely plays off of his eyes I think. The funny thing is that my son and I are now in the part of MK Deception where we have to train with this guy. *shudders* All of that shading took me forever to do. I am so glad that you like him though. Thank you so much for writing a comment for him. That means so much to me. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was awesome. ^^ All my love. Mwah!
