Personality

Personality: 

Haze is neither an introvert nor an extrovert, but a bit of both. He enjoys being around people and making friends, but also values his alone time and likes to read a book to recharge. He is generally a nice and mild person, but has a somewhat sadistic side that can come out when he's angry. He is very close with his sister, and they depend on each other for support as they don't really feel like there's anyone out there who can understand what being that old feels like.

 

He has had romantic partners in the past, but is generally uninterested as he ages. He enjoys teaching people new things, or how to get themselves out of a bad situation and is always willing to help out a friend in need. He will do so at great cost to himself, and Abyss often berates him for being "a self sacrificing idiot with a death wish." 

 

Though outgoing and seemingly happy most of the time, he does have an issue with chronic depression and mild PTSD. He does have nightmares at times, as does his sister, but they are less frequent. He strongly believes that children should be protected for their potential to change the world(s), and sometimes has a tendency to be a bit overprotective of his students. 

 

To those he dislikes, he can be cold, sarcastic and rather cruel. However, he is more trusting than his sister and willing to give second chances, but if you use up that second chance, you're screwed.

Notes: 

He would prefer it if everyone just treated him as normal, but in the Elemental world he and his twin are well-know because of their age and the fact that they have saved many explorer's lives at one point or another. This leads him and his twin to explore worlds where they are rather anonymous, despite having to use a different form. 

 

 

In a nutshell: Don't make him mad, and you'll be fine. Likes to read, watch sunsets, and sleep.

Elemental

Light: Using this element, he can create illusions, and influence light. Illusions are energy- and concentration- costly, but useful. He can bend light around himself to make himself appear invisible. He can make shapes with light, sumon globes of light, or release it in a bright flash. Tying this in with his energy element, he can attach light energy to a small object, throw it, then flare it, causing a bright flash, basically a soundless flash-bomb. 

 

Heat: Using this element, he can control heat. He can choose to convert energy into it to emanate it, such as to melt metal, or to absorb it, such as cool hot metal. He is somewhat heat-proof, but he needs to be consciously concentrating on absorbing the heat to avoid injury. With his energy element, he can convert heat into energy and absorb that energy. 

 

Energy: He can control many forms of energy with this element, chiefly electrical and thermal energy. This renders him somewhat fireproof, but he can still choke on the smoke. He does have the ability to drain living creatures of energy and kill them, but he refrains from using this ability unless he has absolutely no choice. However, if the energy is willing given for him to use, then he will use it.
