Rough ink sketch

Thanks, just my usual sketch stuff. It's rough, thinking I maybe able to fix a lot of it in Sai. Not sure what I'm doing with this piece yet. Just needed something to put in as a first piece, not knowing what I'm doing. Not sure how all the draco stryx stuff is going to work yet. Don't think it's all up and running yet either? Thought, "ok, lets sign on and see what happens.

Ballpoint isn't exactly an easy medium to use. As you can see from the scan it picks up glare from the scanner. I don't think this sketch paper was the best choice because it warped it, which also added to the glare. Beaks and feets is easy compared to feathers. XD Shading every single one of them, oy! LOL!

I haven't done any of her in awhile and had this in the sketch book. She's completely black, so modeling her after a real crow is helpful. I just signed up and don't know all the ins and outs of this site. Been trying to follow on discord, but not having much success. During the day been trying to remodel my studio and at night been on predator patrol because had an influx of things trying to get my chickens and messed up every nest my geese tried to have this year. So any pointers would be helpful.

Thanks, still getting a feel for this site and how to use it. But I'm here. LOL! Having a hard time staying focused because of things going on here. So any tips would be appreciated. Truth be told not hugely savy when it comes to learning new sites.
