Without Wings I Can't Fly

Olde art tiem. This pic hails from 2011 and is my most popular submission over at dA, so... A white phoenix OC from my headworlds, Arcaillax holds a specific place both in her world and among my own characters. I think I created her in 2006 and she's been through a LOT of change since those days. In short, she's basically thought to be a myth in her world, yet actually she pretty much exists but lives in solitude on a forgotten island and guards the locket hanging on her neck. A task that was given to her over 600 years ago - or about 500 years ago for her. The locket can be used for time travelling and she got pushed forward in time.

Maybe I'll blabber more about Arcaillax here one day. I'd anyway need an updated reference sheet for her...

I can see why it was so popular, the work on the wings is magnificent. I'd definitely second you posting more about her here, she has a nice design and an interesting sounding premise

Wow, I'd love to see her development since then, she has such a lovely design and I'm eating up that lore!
