The Dive

This is super pretty! I love the pose, and the character stands out really well against the background without looking out of place. The simple shape of the background (looks like an underwater canyon) gives a very interesting effect in that the top gives a very nice idea of where the character is without distracting from the main focus, and the bottom is a more ominous presence, like a much larger creature lurking in the shadows. My screen isn't big enough to view the image as a whole, so it's split between the two, and while I understand the background shadow is one whole thing, I think that splitting it creates a very nice contrast

The angle of his head is super tricky, you pulled it off wondrously here! the angler fish came out nice as well, leaving their shapes ambiguous with only the details of the eyes, teeth, and occasional glow lure adds an ominousness to them that defining them would have lost
