Maakor's Talisman

Maakor's pen & ink box, with a flocked interior for the protection of his pens, a drawer containing extra nibs and ink, decorated with minnows and brass hasps and ring knib, and the badges of world's he's visited decorating the top. It's made with paduke, dark walnut, and love, magically water sealed and given to him a few birthdays ago, when previously he was trying to keep his pens intact while loose in his bag. Since then, he's been collecting writing utensils and pretty inks to put inside, though it's the box and not its contents that has true and proper meaning to him. He wouldn't leave it behind if he had a choice.
