Bryan (Commission)

This was a commission done for

ArkillianDragon of her character Prince Bryan. Bryan is (c) Susan Rugg (

ArkillianDragon ).

Yeah he's a total hunky guy. This was sort of inspired by Fire Emblem. I was looking at the great art in the Path of Radiance players guide for some reference and inspiration. They've really got some great work in that game.

  Bryan is easy to spot I think that's why I fell in love with his original character design even though I hated his personality. His personality comes through alot easier than any of my other characters- it's the exotic look I guess...

Wow O_O This is pretty damn amazing!

Love the body-position, you got it down just perfectly <3 The clothes are very nicely done, and I really like how you drew them waving, it kinda gives it a breezy feeling
I also like the wonderful shading, and I adore the colouring! It's so artistic and lovely <3

Awesome work, really awesome!

I love how minimalist your painting is, it's just so...I don't know...Gives it almost a ghostly effect. What did you use to do the coloring? If it's Photoshop then I'm bitin' the bullet and putting it on my puter... Awesome job.

  Yes it's photoshop. I tried to do it in Painter but i'm not really that good at controling brushes in Painter yet. Yeah photoshop is a great program. Thank you for the comments Heidi

I really like it. It's very dream like to me, maybe it's the medium you used. I feel like I'm in a dream and watching this macho, muscular, gorgeous man walking out of the mist to carry me away and....better skip the details LOL. But seriously, I really like this one.
