Gidget grew up in the woods, her home stood at the edge of a sturdy cliff that overlooked the rest of the town. The house was quite humble and small as they were very poor and could not afford to live in town. They grew their own food and made their own clothes. Gidget's family never had the money to send her to school so she stayed at home spending her days outside, this is where her affinity for insects more specifically moths came from as well as her odd style of clothing, which of course is moth inspired.

Gidget's parents became very ill with a heavy disease that eventually took their life, even with Gidget doing the best she could to take care of them. Gidget's "career" as a thief started here, as she would begin to steal medicine to help her parents recover.

Eventually, her thieving caught up with her and she was ran out of the town back up to her quaint home on the cliff's edge, after this, she decided to start traveling as she could no longer go to the bars and taverns in her town and she could also steal more goods by traveling to other towns and exploring. Despite all of this she has maintained a mischievously positive attitude and can make friends with about anyone in the tavern.
