Those Eyes of His...

Why thank you darlin. Now I think you are only saying that because you want to touch me in all of my naughty places. Which, of course, is just fine with me. Anyway,this guy is my most favorite anime character...well okay I lied. Sesshomaru is my most favorite anime character and this guy here (his name is Scar from Full Metal Alchemist) is my second most favorite. Do you think I will go to hell for lusting after a cartoon character?

Thanks hun. He does look pissed huh? Awesome. That means I captured his character perfectly. His name is Scar and he is from Full Metal Alchemist. And he is definitely my favorite anime character of all time. Well, next to Sesshomaru anyway. But Scar's brother was killed and he walks around with a personal vendetta to avenge his brother's death and the deaths of all of his people that were killed in an unprovoked massacre and he destroys anyone who gets in his way. Why thank you my lovey. I am still figuring out how to do things in my painter, so when I finally get it all figured out, I am sure I will be making smoother lines. ^^ This guy is my most favorite character from FMA. He is so handsome and he is so tough. I love tough guys. ^_^ Not to mention complex. He always seems to have alot going on emotionally. I guess I like complex men. Go figure. I am so happy you like it hun. And after I added the fire background, I decided to put the "glow" on his skin. I thought it looked more "believable" that way. If he were real, I would marry him and have like 20 babies with him. Well, maybe not that many. Ouch! But the best thing about this picture is that there is NO mottling or fading whatsoever! Yay! Aww, I have missed you so much too. And yes, another white haired hunk. And he may even be sexier than Sesshomaru. I am not quite sure yet, but he might be. My mind hasn't decided yet. And I hope you will get to see FMA soon just so you can see this beautiful man. He is such a complex individual. But then again, I have always been attracted to complex people. Go figure. I just find it appealing. Anyway, you really think I am good on Painter? Thank you SO MUCH!!! That means so much to me because this is only my second picture that I have ever colored in Painter! So I am so honored that you have said that. Other talents left unknown? Let's see... Oh, I know! I can touch my tongue to my nose! Really I can. My daughter can actually stick her tongue UP her nose like Stitch does on Lilo and Stitch. >_< I am so proud. And speaking of proud... WAY TO GO ON YOUR EXAMS!!! That is so awesome. I am so very very proud of you, so you keep going on boasting. You deserve to. I will miss you while you are away. I may be away for a while too. I have to take my computer in to the shop to get fixed. it has been giving me so many problems lately. But if I am gone for a while, just know that I love you and I am proud of you and I will probably have alot of new sparkly art to show when I get my computer back. Mwah!

Why thank you lovey. I believe that the eyes contain the person's soul, emotion, whatever you want to call it. And this character (Scar) is a very complex character. He always has you trying to figure out if he is a good guy or a bad guy. Much like Sesshomaru. He has his own personal vendetta to avenge his brother's death no matter what. And he destroys who or whatever gets in his way. And develops some unlikely friendships along the way. I love complex characters and people. I am always drawn to them. Anyway, I am glad that you like him. I have looked and looked and haven't really seen many fanarts of him that are a full face shot. Which was really sad considering how hot he is. So I thought I'd make one. And you want to know how I did it? I have the entire FMA series saved on my TIVO box and I simply paused it on his face and sketched from there. Not too shabby, huh? My disc rom doesn't work, it won't let me on my messengers and it is just being a pain. >_< But I will miss you while I am gone. And click on the "free trial" button. It gives yu a free 30 day free trial of it. And then it gives you the option of purchasing it. After teh first time I used it, I bought it. I absolutely fell in love with the program. it is so easy to use. Alot easier than any others I have tried to use. I think you will like the program too. And I am still figuring things out in it, but if you need my help , just let me know. But I may be away for a little while. My computer has been messed up really bad and I am going to be taking it in to the shop. So hopefully it won't take them long to fix it. Anyway, I am so glad that everyone is liking this picture. I thought it turned out pretty good for only my second one ever colored in painter. ^^ So, if I can do it, I just know your art is going to be awesome. Much love. *hugs*

Well what I did was that I made the original pencil sketch. And that was some task alone in itself. I couldn't find very many fanarts of him to go off of (none that are very big or show off his gorgeous face enough for me) so I paused my Tivo box on his face and sketched him out. Isn't technology wonderful? ^^ Anyway, after I had the sketch all uploaded to the Corel Painter IX, All I really did was just color inside of my sketch lines. I prefer to use the airbrush tools. After the skin (or hair or clothing) was all colored in, I went back over the outlines in black with the fine tip air brush #3. That is the smallest attachment I have found so far to do the line art. Otherwise, the paint will pretty much just cover up any mishaps on the lineart. Plus it does have tons of Eraser features too. It is in the little box you click on to change the style you want to use. From Airbrush to oils, etc. But I absolutely LOVE this program. It is the best one that I have found so far. And I am so happy that you like how he turned out. I am quite pleased too. I have him as my screen saver too. I am so obsess... err, in love with him. All my love to you hun. Mwah!
