This bitch is SCARY!! I would hate to meet her in the dark somewhere! I like the way you made her eyes and her leathery neck, and that wild hair. She reminds me of this crazy chick in the graphic novel for the vampire lestat (I don't know WHY I don't own that yet!!)
anyway, good job, maybe blend the colors a little more, but other than that it's great
Thanks Kichi!!! You know what i've been working on her to improve and i feel like i've ruined it...again... Its not that bad but not to my liking. I dunno if i'll post the 'improve' drawing! She is kinda scary, like i said to Moondemon, at first i wanted to draw a woman happily screaming with firey hair...oh well...it turned out like that! Which book were you refering to, i've almost read all the book of the vampire chronicle...sign...I'd love to meet Lestat in a dark alley, sad to think he wouldnt bite us because we've read his books...
ah I know how you feel. I try to finish things and fuck them up too.. and as for Lestat, I'd lie. Then he'd read my mind and see I was lying and be like: "Begone wench!" lol!
I want to go to New Orlean on rue Royal, just to see if i might catch a glimpse, sometime i believe he exist and asked Anne Rice to be the name behind his book... Im crazy...
Oh I really love this Lisi. I adore vampires. And she looks really pissed. Either that or just really really hungry. Anyway, I really like the eyes. They have sort of a cat-like quality to them because of the way they seem to have a "glow" to them. I have a couple of suggestions about the teeth. I read somewhere that you wanted to re-do the teeth because you weren't happy with them or something. Well, I think the biggest thing with them is that the fang on her left side (not our left side, but hers) should be a bit more elongated. It isn't quite as long as the one on her right. And I think if you soften the lines up that separate each individual tooth, then you will get a more realistic look to them. Just a few things that may help or they may not. I like to pretend that I know what I am talking about even tough I usually don't. But shhh! Don't tell anyone. But rest assured that she is extremely awesome. I absolutely LOVE the wild, unkempt look of her hair. And I couldn't have thought of a better title for it. Awesome job sweetie. Mwah!
Thanks Kristy...i've decide to wrok on her and now i completely hate it. I'Ve put it in a drawer and i dont want to look at it, i'm angry because i feel like i've ruined it. I tend to do that...ruin the drawing by overdoing it...Ah well... I've took the advice you said about the teeth, i've made them more the same and i also changed the eyes...i didn't like them. I realised yesterday that i wanted to work too quickly on my drawing, i want to finish them right away...i think its way i ruin them,i'll try to take my time from now on. Sigh!! But thanks a lot, im glad you like her even if i hate her now...lol...Mwah Kristy take care!
Aww, it is okay Lisi. I have done that sooo many times. I work on a drawing too much trying to get it perfect and then I completely mess it up somehow. And then all of my hard work was wasted. So, you are not alone sweetheart. Maybe sometime later you can go back to it if you want. it's your call. But in all honesty, alot of people like her this way. Like I said to you before, her eyes (the way they are in this version) have a cat-like quality. You know how a cat's eyes reflect and "glow" in the dark? That's what this reminds me of, so it is really neat. And I used to rush on my drawings too. Most of my earlier drawings were rushed leaving them with a very poor quality. Then I git started on doing realism and I slowed myself down. I actually took the time to pay attention to one certain area making sure the details looked good before I would move on to the next area. And the results were a definite improvement. The only downfall is that you have to commit to the drawing. I have a hard time with that sometimes and it will take me close to a week or more to even get one picture out. Ah well. The more I draw, the faster I will get. Just hang in there love. *hugs*
Thanks again, you're so good to me. Well, in a way, its not ruined its different and i learned something by 'overdoing' it a bit. For now on, i'll take my time and do like you, concentrate on every little area so that the drawing is perfect to my eyes. I think i was being to harsh on myself, well we are are own worst critics right! All my love and take care kristy mwah
Well sweetheart, you deserve it. And so much more. Just keep pushing forward and you'll get there. Oh and I have finally got my tattoo that I have been planning on getting since last September. I posted a pic of it on my profile page so everyone can see it. Let me know what you think of it okay? Love ya. Mwah!
