Altitude

I was in the middle of concept art when I got hit by my muses, and thus this happened :) It helped me realize an issue with my art that I hadn't noticed was a thing I was doing - most of my art shows my characters just, uh, sitting around. Most of them aren't doing much, oops! So that's something I'm going to keep in mind going forward.

Another thing that occurred to me as I made this is that it would make a ton of sense for Nolous to enjoy high altitude soaring. He's built for flight first and foremost, unlike the Sis'Khuna (Kamon's species), and he is very prone to over heating (since his species is native to snowy zones, not tropical ones). Up that high, it would be a lot cooler, though he'd have to use a spell to compensate for the thinness of the air. Climbing that high would take some effort (unless he hit some sweet updrafts), so it would be a great way to blow off steam for the times he gets upset too.

Art and Nolous belong to me, and are for my sole use.

I love how you lined the scales, especially along the neck and shoulders. They're really cool looking. I also love the pose they're in, as it really gives the feeling that they are flying up high above the earth.

Thank you for the lovely comment! The ones along his neck are known as a flush ridge, which is how I identify male dragons Smile I had an unusual amount of fun with the line art in this, which is why all those fun back scales happened. I'm glad it turned out well!

Love the dynamic pose! Big Smile I'm def interested in seeing your chars doing stuff like playing, hunting, sleeping, etc. ^^ You can do it!

Thank you, it was a blast! All of those would be fun to see, though I have shown Kamon fishing before, which is basically hunting fish. It'll definitely be a thing I do in future art, haha!
