False Hope

"If the blue birds can fly over the rainbow, why can't I?"

He thought, as he fell into the darkness.

"Dreams really don't come true...”

The only thing he found, were his tears at the bottom.

I'm not sure, I made up a story for this one while I painted, and then.. I started listening to "some where over the raindow (sung by judy garland.. I think I spelled her name wrong, but she is dorthy in The Wizard of Oz)" And it felt like there was no such place, just a dream, false hope. Somewhere over the rainbow, theres nothing.

Besides that I like little islands XD

You spelled her name correctly and that is a pretty interesting place to get an idea. I mean, the words were really wonderful but the tune it's set to can get annoying REALLY fast. You're right though, the little stone island looks great!

Wow absolutely beautiful work on the stones and with the water. Did you reference something for this or learn this in a tutorial somewhere?

      *Trys to remember*

I think I may only have a couple waterfall pictures on my HD, but only one at the time I made that. I glanced at it and noted how it fell, and all the splashing and tried to do the same with my own water, although, if you look I think the one I made of spark wolf before this had a waterfall, and I had a bit of practice before I made the water in this one here, I also figured out how to paint stuff under water somewhat... as for the stones, I really don't have anything I look at, although I always have a big giant back up of reference on ruins and stone and all that, the only thing I know about stones is water always travels the most easy path, and on rocks and stone, there are usually parts that are weaker then the rest and can be worn away with time water, weather, most like sand in a desert with wind blowing and it wears at the rocks. I was thinking though, if the stone was made, or carved it would have all kinds of spots for water and such to eat at it, and its pretty old I thought, so yeah ^_^;;;;; I think I watched like a documentary on ancient ruins years ago. I also wanted to express.. ya know it falling apart on him, and the way back is shut off cause the stairs are gone.

Yey for soft shading huh? Plus I mess around for hours.

      I hope that made sense!

Actually- there was a really good quote on Full Metal Alchemist I heard from a random NPC type character- "If your dreams come true, then they aren't dreams, are they?" Sorry- wouldn't have a CLUE why you needed to hear that, but there you go Wink I was surprised in a good way when I heard it cause it's TOTALLY true.
