80's Kitty
*rubs aching hand* Oh man...How long have I been coloring this thing?! O__o;;
Anyways...*guruubii has waited a long time for me to get my ass in gear and get her this picture. You can always count on dah Lurver to be super slow because I'm a slacker like that...
Sooo... I chose an 80's theme because I've always been a whore for 80's rock (NOT POP! ROCK!! >_>;;) and well...Since I can remember, "Dead or Alive" has been on my top ten most loved 80's rock bands. So of course, I would use their best known song, "You Spin Me 'Round"
I purposely kept the line art scratchy to give it more of its own personality, and also so it would match the lyrics fonts (which I hand did with the tablet, took longer than it should have concidering I was supposed to just scribble it... O_o; ). I decided to go with Cel Shading because it just seems to fit this mix 'n' match picture as it is.
The 'lined paper' idea is also inspired by the 80's from one of my favorite movies, "The Breakfast Club".
