Prompt #2 - The Convoys

Alongside the brave beings of the shipping vessels, your character will fend off and outfly the scalliwags of the void. The massive cargo cruisers are slow and difficult to maneuver, but they often employ swift guardian ships to protect them. Does your character pilot a ship in the convoy? Have they been hired as part of the on-ship guardian crew to repel boarders? Is your character a trader or cargo worker who was simply caught in the wrong place at the wrong time? Draw or write your character as part of one of the convoys. Your piece must include your character and either space ships, freighter cargo or treasure, or an encounter with pirates.

After her trip to Pavia, Elseph began searching her corner of The Woodlands until she found a new Portal and leapt into the Gateway, into a new world. She found the Cygnian star System, a world of Looming Crisis. After slipping about, gathering old news information, and temporarily replacing her hat with a headscarf that wouldn't blow away so easily, she began to gather the state of affairs in this area. While her Philosophy was one that celebrated freedom, these Pirates' approach only caused harm to others, and so, by her estimation, they needed to be stopped. The idea she had was lair up in the hold, making up a collection of Cursed Tokens, but the Pirates attacked earlier than planned, so Elseph began a spur of the Moment Scheme, fitting herself with an Air Mask and Swinging out of an Airlocking Firing out Bursts of Magical Fire at the Piratical Space Dingies, while the Main defence turrets turned to the larger targets.
