One version of many...until i'm completely happy with the results. I'm still not all happy with how the color ended up. So there's some good chances i'll make another one.

I used watercolor. Tell watcha think...

My my my....I can really buy into this piece. Note the complimentary color scheme coupled with a very believable pose and posture. Also the biology is right on....knees are so difficult to render. She's waiting and content and unaware of her beauty.

  Thank you very much. I have to say I played quite a bit with the colours and I wasn't entirely satisfied with it...I did another which I like a bit more but I have yet to upload it. Thanks again, I did work hard on this one.

Ooh, I'm loving this pic, too. The neck seems kinda thick, though. Also, I understand that you're still getting the hang of watercolors (I'm not that good with them, myself.) but perhaps you could try giving the wings a more transparent look to them? I think that would add a very nice effect.

  Many thanks...your not the only one to point out the neck. I think i'll work on it. Your absolutely right about the color...i'll have to admit i have abandoned my arts for a while but i'll be picking them back up!

  Thanks mucho! I'm lucky i have friends who love to pose for me, so it's a bit more easier when i get to see what i have in my head. For the watercolor, i'm slowly getting the hang of it, i try ,try, try,try and try again. And ruin lots of paper...

I loooove the colors you used here. Makes me want Springtime to come NOW! She's a very cute widdle fairy - I think you should make a group pic of fairies in honor of the spring equinox!

  Watercolors and fairies seem to go hand in hand for some reason. I guess the delicate, otherwordly effect you can acheive with watercolors matches the fairy's character?

It looks Psychedelic to me with all the green and blue tones. This is pretty well drawn but I think the coloring could be better. I mean if you used watercolor then you could make her wings a bit transparent, that way they wouldn't come out into the front like this. I think you should do something with the outlines, then it'll fit into place. Her neck seems a bit thick as well, and it might help to shade it some. But I like the feel of this, to me it really expresses your love to nature. Keep it up hun! Much love.*huggles*

  I know what you mean Atlantis...thats why i want to work on her again. I love it but i know i can do better...i want to try different color too, different ways of applying it. I cant wait for this weekend, i'll be able to work on it. Thanks for the advices

OOO! I was wondering when you were going to get this one done! I looks pretty good! I like the color of the wings. and I like the colors and how they kinda blend with the next. Very nice job. I love her body position. Nice detail. Great work!

  Well good it's always really good to go back and see what you can do with it. Sometimes I find myself doing to much to it and sometimes I find myself doing just enough. So be carful because this is beautiful!
