Character Name: The Black Bandit (A.K.A. Adrian Clarke)
Character Age: 32
Character Species: Human
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Green
Adrian was the son of a former Lord. When his land was overtaken by the expanding Tavian Empire, his father gathered other nearby lords and led a revolt. The revolutionaries were quickly crushed, and Lord Clarke was executed as an example to other would-be uprisers. Adrian, still a child, was taken to a work camp far from his homeland, to be sent into the coal mines as a scout. His small size meant he could be forced into the smaller cracks of the caves to scout or retrieve, or just for the amusement of the foremen.
When he grew old enough, Adrian began whispering to the other young mistreated workers to stage a revolt of their own. Over time, his charismatic ways built him a substantial enough following to rise up against the men holding them in the camps. However, at this point Adrian's plans were not to win - they were to distract. He used the commotion from the workers' riot to slip away from the camp, leaving his fellows to die at the hands of the Empire.
Adrian made his way to the seashore, committing minor thefts along the way to keep himself sustained. Eventually he joined a gang of pirates with the aim of anarchy against the Empire. Over the years, he became known as the Black Bandit - a charistmatic rogue of a man, able to talk his way out of most situations.

I also really like his backstory! He's going to be interesting to see in action in a whole new world. I wonder how his plans for anarchy would hold up in the face of no-empire-left-beef?
Thank you so much! Your comments are always wonderful to read, and so well thought-out.
