Aurolin Tynn

Aurolin was a few months old, the daughter of a servant, when her house was attacked in the night. Her father, seeing death approaching as he heard the commotion, abandoned his post (thus forfeiting his life) to grab her and steal her away. He ran far, eventually getting her to the surface. However, the journey was not without its obstacles. Having been set upon by horrors of the deep caves as he attempted to escape, his skin was shredded as he sheltered the baby. When he made it to the surface, he stumbled to a nearby road and finally collapsed.
 
The next day, a caravan of the Great Library was passing by, and heard the cries. A monk in the caravan saw the dead body of the dark elf, and found, still protected in his arms, Aurolin. She had a hastily scrawled note pinned to her swaddling clothes:
 
“Please take her and keep her safe. She no longer has connections to the Dark Elves. Raise her as you will. Just keep her safe.”
