Calamity Jane - or a very prettified version of her. I hear she was a powerful ugly woman in real life!

actually, she wasn't all that ugly. she just prefered the male clothing. but definatly a rough around the edges type woman, with an attidute to match. hehe. ^^ great job here, but gotta say, she looks a bit indian-ish, uh-huh, but very good. great shading. i love the hat (i can't draw cowboy hats to save my life,lol)

  OKay, maybe not ugly - but I did read that she was in the army for quite a few months before they realized she was a woman heheheh
  You are right - she does look a little Native American... must be the face shape =/ That wasn't intentional. And YES that durn hat was giving me so much grief! I hate drawing cowboy hats!!!

  lol. ^^ great job non the less. al least you can pull off the cow boy hat..*grumbles about not being good at hats in general* evil little things. they're easier to wear ten to draw!
