Young Warrior

Posted Jul 29, 2004, 10:27:34 PM UTC
She is a young elf who is ready to fight.
This drawing is a mixture of inspirations: the pose of the girl has been inspired by a image extracted from an anime called "Ipurita." The face has been inspired by the character of San, one of the protagonists of "Mononoke Hime" and at last, the " armour" point out a little to the one carried by Xena the warrior princess.
I am rather satisfied with the result.

you draw so creative and well, she looks like one of those real anime characters.

Well, techincally she is (to my eyes) dual class Fighter-Seraphim. That explains the floating-thingie there. Really nice picture altogether (<- it's wrong and i know it!). The question is, however, what weapon she is holding? i'd say it's a battle staff, but Okami, please correct me if i'm wrong.

      Thanks for the review!
I didn't know what was a Fighter-Seraphim so I sought on Internet and I found images of an Anime called "Seraphim Call." Did you refer to this Anime? ( The images were beautiful!)
You are not wrong Brethesen, her weapon is a battle staff. Good deduction!
Stop reproaching you your grammatical mistakes, everyone made mistakes!
^_^Besides I don't think it is wrong to have use "altogether" in this sentence.

No... Dual Class Fighter-Seraphim came from my own mind, Fighter being the "default" class in almost all rpg games and my new confrontation with Seraphim twisted my mind in really weird way, thus making Dual Class Fighter-Seraphim. Odd, isn't it? And besides, i happen to study as a hobby medieval and fantasy world weaponry. I'm bit a rookie, but i'll learn. Corky Smile

Whao!! You have got a lot of imagination!
"Dual Class Fighter-Seraphim" sounds very cool! I wish I could study the medieval and fantasy world weapony.

Yeah this is a cool drawing. There is a lot of intensity there. The feet don't feel like they are standing on the ground though. The outfit she is wearing is really cool. esplecially that wool cape she's got.

Thank you Bogusred for the comment! Now that I re-examine the drawing, it is true that the elf seems to float in the airs.
Again,I took as a starting point the the "cape" carried by San, the heroin of
      "Mononoke Hime."
Do you know this film of Myazaki? (I think that it is splendid.)
