Draw or write about your character camping outdoors, extreme or recreational. Are they toasting s'mores, singing campfire songs? Or are they on the other end, setting the tent and foraging for wood?

"You brought a lot of jars, Paiko! Planning to do something?"
"Going to catch things. Shiny things."
"What are we going to catch?"
"Tiny stars. Fire."
"Oooh using a special device that can harness and contain fire?"
"Catch fire... Catch things on fire? I'm very good at that."
"N-no no no. Fire... bugs. Fireflies! No catching things on fire. I would get in trouble..."
Paiko invites Mozza and Thalia to join his camping experience in a nearby forest. Because no camping trip is complete without the joy of experiencing lights in the darkness: whether that's stargazing, stories and s'mores by the fire, flashlight shadow puppets, or firefly catching.
Forests are nice places to find these shiny bugs. They fill the air like a sparkling cloud of fairy lights, tiniest of celestial beings amidst a very earthy, woody setting. Thankfully, Thalia's brightness (though far outcompeting the singular points of light) doesn't scare the fireflies away. After all, she's the biggest flying fire there is.
Speaking of fire... the entire forest is a fire hazard. Fuel ready to go up in glorious tongues of flame. Paiko thought about this for all of half a minute before deciding that a large disaster would be unlikely.
As long as Prim didn't find out-- they would probably freak out at having a 'living' fire (and a fire elemental mousefolk) surrounded by all this potential firewood...
(When one clearing of the forest is quite obviously glowing with the cyan light of a blue phoenix, it's not hard for a forest spirit to locate the perpetrators. Well, they look like they're having fun-- wait, is that bush on fire?!)
A big thank you to Charli (Primrose), Cy (Thalia), and Bordayus (Mozza) for their wonderful characters!

I did read recently that fireflies are very bad for reptiles to eat, so - don't put those in your mouth, Paiko!
Good thing she has a big flaming bird and a quick little drakon watching over her (and Prim, the guardian of the forest too), glad she could have a safe and fun night in the woods ^-^
Really like the use of the darker blue tones, which really contrast Thalia's brighter appearance and make them stand out!
Working on the bluish night-time colors on the "overlay" layer... and then I stick a new "hard light" layer on top and assault my eyes with the bright cyan XD It was a super fun lighting experiment!
Don't worry, I'm sure this peaceful scene will stay mostly peaceful... Paiko is not a fan of being roasted either ^-^
