This ritual takes time to set up, and the seperation of soul and body is not final, but a skilled spiritwalker may ask... favors. One may also burn and cleanse the spirit of impurities. Of course, this would infer that the one doing the seperation has good intentions. Ghost-eye most definitely does not. His fire singes, it razes the mind of that who he holds. He scours their most inner thoughts, using them as a tool to find out their darkest secrets. Of course, this only works on the weakest of minds and requires many "favors" from the spirits that live beside him. It would be necessary to learn who he is up against. All he would need in battle is a touch. No, perhaps more. This one, the human without hair. His soul speaks of great strength, people he was terrified to fight. Terrified to even go in the same room as. Ghost-eye licked his lips. His jaw unhinged for just a moment. During that moment... a small patter of saliva fell unto the ground. He closed his mouth and wiped the excess liquid before leaving the room, thoughts filled with the information he just retained. He was forced to return the soul to it's rightful body, as per how the magic works, but not without another torturous squeeze to really make this man pay for his... human-ness.
Ghost-eye knew that the man had no affiliation with whatever forces brought him to this world, but it made him happier to see the suffering of other living beings... at least, temporarily happier.
