A tale as old as time [53]

"--the door collapsed to the ground, and behind it stood a sight I would never forget. Radiating confidence, the woman - whom I would later learn called herself the Bandit King - strolled into the room as if she owned the place, dropping her sword on the counter with a clunk. She loudly proclaimed that she had returned from a mission of the most dangerous kind, and had tales for all to hear - but first, a round of drinks for all, on her. I was startled, of course, but a good barkeep knows when it's best to simply react, and I was long used to surprising visitors by this point. So, following her commands, I started prepping--" 

As Myre rambled on, Plum and Finley shared a look with each other, before returning to doing their best to seem interested in the tale - one which, for all Myre's bold claims of knowing an endless amount, he always seemed to return to. Perhaps in another time it would have annoyed them to hear such a tale told over and over, but... 

Well. Even a tale as old as time was enjoyable, wasn't it?

A bit of a short and sweet one this time around, mostly since I know if I don't get this down now then I never will! So here's Myre recounting the tale of encountering his beloved Krys, the Bandit King, to an audience that seems all too familiar and done with the story before it's even begun. 

First time really trying a more.. simplified? Style for the charactrers at the bottom? Definitely something I want to try again in future! 

I'm aware it's not super valentine's in appearence, but Myre is someone who struggles with spilling his guts to people - his love language is stories, tales, and he seems to have plenty of them featuring her,,,
