OCL Round Two: Luis V. Marsh

I have no choice, do I?

Prompt: While some less attentive thinkers may believe that offensive capability is the sole expression of strength, we at the Academic Collective are in tune with many angles of power. In this challenge, you and your opponent will each be issued three delicate plush toys. The winner will be the competitor who destroys all of their opponents' plushies while protecting at least one of their own. Protect your plushies from your opponent while destroying theirs. You must depict your character, your opponent, and at least the remnants of at least one plushie.

Bucky vs Luis

Marsh vs Luis Dafou

Marsh is a genius. He has to be. How else did he so clearly and masterfully manipulate Luis into a situation such as this? What should have been an open brawl turned into a turn-based game. Luis thought he had the advantage. He saw the cards, knew they might be evenly matched. But a game? Luis excels at games, especially mental ones! But no, this was....

"Are you tired, I'm tired. Let's just not, okay?" Those were the first word's spoken by his competitor.
Luis... is a goddamn fool. He should've known it'd be a test of magical power, not brain nor brawn. Each would have a turn to attack and defend respectively. What he didn't anticipate was Marsh being a goddamn firebreather, torching the plushie before he could even get burned from defending it. One, two plushies down. One last remaining.

Luis was losing, badly. His earth tremors simply couldn't stand up against Marsh's fire power. Out of options and up against a wall, Luis would use his last resort: his instincts. Even to his ideological self-destruction, Luis will achieve victory. He must, especially against someone who is so clearly his superior, both magically and mentally.

Even if that means becoming a dog to do so.

Oh man, the foreshortening in this piece really comes through in the color. Really well done.

My boi, he's, lazier than he's smart. And he's *decently* smart.
