#61 - Another Genre

Draw or write about your character in another genre. Are they in a western, a thriller, or in a sci-fi setting?

Paiko - The new kid, rising star of the parkour team. Probably failing out of language arts even though it's his first language. Somehow ends up in fights with people bigger than him. Does not sit in his seat, rather, on top of the desk or under it. Drives the teachers mad. 

Meki - Creatively-inclined foreign transfer student; band, art, theater, dance, you name it - she's in it. Makes origami butterflies and cranes from sticky notes and leaves behind a trail of them. Has all the cute stationery. Keeps track of everyone who borrowed and didn't return...

Sylvander - Casually nosy school reporter of the photojournalism club. Never seen without his camera. He'd have great grades... if he ever remembered to turn in his homework. Or come to class. Might have something to do with his paper-boycott protest.

Sozo* - Resident daydreamer, takes about three naps during the school day. Unexpectedly excellent swimmer and dancer. Always ready with an obscure reference or random thought. Photographic memory. That one curve-breaker everyone gets mad at.

I had so many ideas but so little time... the base sketches were done in the margins of my lab notebook (how thematically fitting). Hopefully there'll be more opportunities for some schooly shenanigans - especially when I can incorporate professors and TAs ;)
